Giving Back: Shop #HGCGivesBack Digital Pop-Up for Education

March 11, 2017

Every year of working on this blog has been incredibly rewarding for me and I’m relentlessly grateful for all the people I’ve met, opportunities I’ve gotten and new brands that I’ve discovered throughout this journey. For 2017, I’m really inspired to live a great story and help take the blog and ( #HGCgivesback pop-ups) to the next level. I’m excited to announce that the next HGC 2017 Spring/Summer Photo Shoot will be taking place in Cape Town, South Africa in late April, 2017! The bigger part of this opportunity is that I will be going to support the Hillsong Africa Foundation in Century City, South Africa through a variety of ways from donating my time and a portion of this digital pop-up directly to the Hillsong Africa Foundation. For those of your wondering, is it a paid mission trip? No, it’s simply an amazing opportunity to do something great, give back for an education-focused empowerment initiative, and because it is an honor to serve. And- of course a PERFECT way for me to scope out some new fashion accessories in South Africa and bring share them with you all for our next shoots and pop-ups back in LA! Find out more on the current HGC Spring 2017 Digital Pop-Up event below.

As always thank you for your support!

Much love and light,

xoxoxox

Melissa

#WCW: Melissa Wong – Charity Girl

[…] Melissa: It was never really planned. I had birthday coming up and I wanted everyone to be able to come hang out and shop. Because of my schedule I haven’t been able to plan a solid 2017 calendar, so I’ve been hosting the digital pop-ups in the meantime. That way people in New York, Kansas City, LA, Vegas, Miami, or anywhere in the U.S. can take part. The next one was recently launched and can be found here and the blog post with more info can be found here. […]
