Editor’s Note: Being a world changer is easier than you think. When you shop Me to We bracelets and accessories, you are making a difference in the lives of families through health, education, food, and water initiatives.

Me to We’s rafiki chains are bracelets made by mothers in Kenya, and each Me to We purchase helps these women and their families directly. The Me to We rafiki shop showcases a variety of HGC-approved styles, starting from $10 USD and up. If you’re in LA, follow us on Facebook and Instagram to find out more on the next HGC Trunk Show where we will be selling these fun fashion for good bracelets!

Rafikis: Making a Fashionable Impact with Purpose

By Meagan Carter

You may recognize Me to We by their one of a kind Rafiki Friend Chain found in retailers such as Nordstrom and Pacsun. Each purchase of this beaded chain will provide clean water or school supplies for a child in need. In addition to their Rafiki Friend Chain, there is so much more to Me to We than what meets the eye. This organization’s goal is simple: to turn “me” into “we” and begin thinking of the world as a whole. Me to We is a social empowerment brand that provides consumers with the opportunity to give back through purchasing merchandise, where proceeds go to the Me to We Foundation or Free The Children.

Me to We also has its own leadership camps where individuals can learn how they can make a positive impact on the world. The brand also sponsors volunteer trips where volunteers see first hand how easy it is to make a big change one person at a time. Join the WE movement here.

Me to We is an HGC-approved brand for many reasons starting with its’ B certification, their support of Free The Children, and their employment of local artisans in Kenya making it possible for mothers to provide for their children and create hope throughout their villages. Me to We has launched some amazing new products including a new spin on the Rafiki with new fun, colorful tassels. They have also designed the Frosted Bangili Bracelet with lightly frosted beads, Swahili roots, adjustable and easily stackable. Colors range from purple, lilac, blush and more. This bracelet helps Free The Children with accessible, clean and safe water.
