around Town LA: Designed Giving debuts first Hollywood pop-up shop

June 14, 2014

Need weekend shopping plans? Look no further because I’m SUPER excited to announce Designed Giving’s first Hollywood pop-up shopping event- TODAY only!  The shopping for charity event is a collaboration of two creative, innovative minds, Jacqueline Horwitz Hurwitz and Sherrie Berger, who make up the dedicated Designed Giving team. This dynamic duo is passionate about giving back to their communities and they want to invite you to take part. Stop by the Hollywood pop-up shop on Sunset Blvd and pick up some one of a kind pieces for yourself or as gifts for friends.  Items available will include designer shoes, designer handbags, designer apparel, designer accessories,  art work, vintage housewares and much more. Proceeds from today’s shopping event will go to benefit Childhelp Los Angeles and the Downtown Women’s Center.

Event details: TODAY, SATURDAY, 6/14

Time: 8am-2pm

Address: 7720 W. Sunset Blvd @ Genessee Los Angeles, CA, 90046

Admission: FREE

Parking: Street and metered parking will be available

You’ll find one of a kind luxury items and you are shopping for a cause so you can shop until you drop! Prices will range from $10-$500 for these unique gems. Admission is free and parking is available on the street or meters on Sunset Blvd.  In addition to debuting their first Hollywood pop-up event, the Designed Giving team will be featured in the Spark Change Film Festival - whose video crews will be filming on site during shopping event. I’m excited for my friends and I’m incredibly honored to be helping out- if you don’t need to buy anything, stop by and participate in the video shoot!  I’ll be there to set up and to take behind the scenes photos, so stay tuned for event pics next week.

Share this post, tell your friends, or just bring them!  Cheers and see you there!

xo- Melissa
